On August 19, 2015 I was sent a computor generated quote from Derrick at Dynamic Auto Movers of $500.00 to ship a 2014 VW Passat from LA, California to Louisville, KY from Derrick and after thinking about the lower quote than others I received, I opted to take it and contacted Derrick and he sent me an official Shipping Quote Form to sign that had all of the correct information including the "Price Quote" of $500.00 dollars.
The date to pick up the car was September 14, 2015 and that was a firm date due to circumstances that where not able to be altered.
Over the next several weeks Derrick was trying to change my dates to deliver and I kept telling him that the 14th was not changeable!
And when he was giving me those dates he would always give me a quote in the uppr $900 range!
On the 10th of September he called me and told me he had found a driver that could do it on the 15th for I think he said $946.00 and I said it has to be on the 14th and at that time I said, what happen to the $500 quote he gave me! He said, and I quote, I never told you $500 and I said, yes you did on this quote form! He said no driver will do it for the amount! I said I don't care you quoted me $500.00 and he said he could not do it!
At this point I was livid so I said I will find someone else and that I would be writing a review about his company and his remark was "you do what you got to do"!
So at this point I called my next higher quote and this guy had everything typed up and finalized in 10 minutes! That is the way it should be!
As of last night, the 14th at 4PM, the car was on a trailer and heading my way! |
